When you consign your home decor and furnishings you are also recycling. Being financially and environmentally conscious, we can help you turn your discarded items into someone else’s treasures and save you money on storage fees.
Submit Photos of Your Item(s)
To consign your upscale, near mint condition items with Rite at Home, all items must be pre-approved by one of our team members. Use our online submission tool. Provide information about the items you wish to consign – type, brand, condition, dimensions, color, photos, (you may also want to bring a picture of the item our store, 3460 Cascade Road, Atlanta, GA 30331). We do not recommend bringing the items to the store before they are accepted.
Evaluate and Approve
Rite At Home will evaluate your item(s) by the information and photographs that you provide. We will notify you within 48 hours if we identify a market for your item.
Pricing and Approval
Rite At Home always prices merchandise fairly, offering value to both consigners and customers. A consignment agreement will be generated and emailed prior to the items are dropped off for your approval and review. The agreement will include the item description, an item number and a selling price. The consignor receives 50% of the selling price. (all items are subject to a 10% trade discount). Agreement must be signed prior or when items are dropped off by the consignor.
All items must be displayed for a minimum of 30 days. Items that have not sold within 60 days will be subject to a (without notice) 10% markdown a month until the item has sold. Your consignment agreement lasts for 60 days, although it may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Pick Up and Delivery
Pick-up / delivery services are available. You will be given a fair estimate for the moving charges, an agreement will be signed and arrangements made. If you prefer to deliver your items to our store once agreement is signed, please be sure to schedule an appointment or your delivery may be refused. We generally accept consignments on Wednesdays.
After the item you have consigned is sold, Rite At Home will automatically generate a check on the 15th of each month. It is the consignors responsibility to check on the selling of their items. You will be assigned a number to check online.
